The Living Room at The Dewberry Hotel

Updated: May 11, 2023

The Living Room, located inside The Dewberry Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina, is a chic, upscale, cozy environment resembling a living room, hence its name. The Living Room serves outstanding breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. It is the perfect location to grab a meal and/or drinks with family and friends. The upbeat environment as well as the outstanding food and drinks will have you dining at The Living Room multiple times on your trip!

I highly recommend dining at The Living Room for lunch. Please note this is a popular location and seating is first come first serve. Once you are seated, the server delivers complimentary caramel popcorn. To pair with the caramel popcorn, I order the Vodka Crush cocktail. This drink is my favorite cocktail of all time. The Vodka Crush is made with Tito's Vodka, lemon, lime, orgeat, cinnamon, Topo Chico Mineral Water, and garnished with fresh herbs from The Hernietta St. Garden. For appetizers, I enjoy the gluten free Pommes Frites and the Roasted Garlic Hummus with veggies and warm pita bread. If you are a hummus connoisseur like myself, the dish is outstanding and is served with an abundance of pita bread and vegetables. For lunch, I order the Caesar salad. At the end of the meal, you will wish you had room for the cookies and milk dessert.

This sophisticated, laid back restaurant has three seating sections - indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. The interior is fabulously decorated and cozy from its couches and sofa chair seating options to the gorgeous gold bar. If the weather is nice, I highly recommend enjoying your meal outside. The employees are very friendly, upbeat, and attentive which elevates the dining experience.

I highly recommend The Living Room for its welcoming, home-like environment and the outstanding food and drinks. This chic atmosphere is a great place to sit back, relax, enjoy your friends and family while having a delicious meal.

Happy Feasting!
