Skull Creek Boathouse, located on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, is a fun, upbeat and popular waterfront dining venue. This landmark restaurant is the perfect destination for a sunset meal with friends and family. Skull Creek Boathouse is a highly desirable location, so be prepared for a long line to secure a table as this restaurant is first come first served and does not accept reservations. While you are waiting for your table, grab a drink at the bar and explore the water's edge. Skull Creek Boathouse is situated on a beautiful piece of property overlooking the Skull Creek Intracoastal Waterway hence where its name originates.
To start your dining experience, the restaurant offers a large drink menu from wines, beers, margaritas, daiquiris, mojitos and more! Skull Creek Boathouse is known for their seafood. Due to following a vegan diet, I did not partake in the delicious seafood. However, my friends love the Chilled Seafood Platter that comes with a lobster tail, shrimp, snow crab, oysters, and accompanied by cocktail and key west mustard sauces. This dish was served family size and takes up a large portion of the table! For dinner I order the veggie roll with edamame hummus, tempura artichoke, asparagus and sun-dried tomato. Remember to save room for the wide selection of yummy desserts from cake, pie, creme brulee, sundaes and puddings as well as the variety of dessert beverage options.
Skull Creek Boathouse is open Mondays through Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. I recommend dining at Skull Creek Boathouse for a sunset dinner to the enjoy the phenomenal view of the water. Dining at Skull Creek Boathouse will complete your trip to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina!
Happy Feasting!
XOXO,
Katy
