Cafe O'Lei at The Mill House, located on a tropical plantation in Waikapu, Maui, is a scenic and upbeat environment for brunch, lunch, happy hour and dinner. Cafe O'Lei serves outstanding food and drinks with a phenomenal view of palm trees, mountains, the plantation fields and lagoon. The service is just as superb as the food and view. I highly recommend dining at Cafe O'Lei with family and/or friends.
Cafe O'Lei has an assortment of delicious food and drinks. For signature cocktails I enjoy the Aloha Maid, "like the can of juice we grew up with", which contains citrus vodka, tropical guava and cointreau as well as the Kapena, meaning captain in Hawaiian, which consists of Kapena Li Hung mui tequila, pineapple juice, fresh lime and a cointreau float. For an entree I enjoy the vegetable linguine and blackened tofu steak with quinoa. The food is served in large portions, so go hungry to Cafe O'Lei and ready to eat!
Cafe O'Lei at The Mill House is open Tuesdays through Fridays for lunch, happy hour and dinner as well as Saturdays and Sundays for brunch, happy hour and dinner. The staff is accommodating, cheerful and welcoming. I love having meals at Cafe O'Lei at The Mill House during my vacations in Maui, Hawaii!
After your meal walk around and explore the Maui Tropical Plantation. The Plantation has numerous shops, zip lining adventures as well as a tropical express tour. The Country Market has fresh produce, local coffee, homemade sweet treats and fun apparel for purchase. The Market also has a bar from which you can order coffee, juices, parfaits and yummy desserts. Stop into Malama Studio to shop local artisans' handmade clothing, knickknacks, stickers and more. Head out on a zip line adventure over the farmlands, tropical gardens and the plantation's lagoon. Learn more about the plantation by taking the tropical express tour to see Hawaii's famous fruits and flowers as well as watch a coconut husking demonstration. I highly recommend spending an afternoon at the Maui Tropical Plantation to explore the property, learn the history of Hawaiian fruits and flowers, shop at the boutique and enjoy the delightful food and atmosphere at Cafe O'Lei at The Mill House.
Happy Feasting!
XOXO,
Katy
