Pre-Travel Wellness Guide

Staying healthy when traveling is a priority. Here are a few tips and tricks to prioritize your wellness before you begin trip.

Food is fuel, especially on busy travel days. Two days before my flight, I make a grocery list to ensure I have the necessary ingredients to make healthy homemade filling treats as well as store bought snacks. For my healthy homemade treat, I always make Medical Medium's Wild Blueberry Pancakes. The pancakes are filling and will give you energy to make it through your flight. My store bought snack list includes Three Wishes Cereal, Organic Dates, Nairn's Oat Grahams, and Made Good Apple Cinnamon Granola Bars.

The nights leading up to travel day, I make sure to get enough sleep and hydrate. The morning of the flight, I have lemon water and a hearty breakfast. Before flights (especially long flights), I take at least a twenty minute walk or workout. Stretching your legs in the morning and clearing your head before your travel day is a great benefit.
